Woven, not printed.

Huzhou Runhong Silk Co., Ltd.

Woven, not printed.

A silk weaving group in Huzhou, Zhejiang, since 1999. We build the jacquard structure ourselves, on our own imported looms — so the pattern is part of the cloth, not a layer on top of it.

01Structure

A group, not a middleman

Runhong Silk was founded in 1999 in Chongzhao, Huzhou — the historic centre of Chinese silk weaving — around the management and technical team of a long-established local silk mill. Three companies operate under common control.

Both weaving operations carry jacquard capability. The difference between them is emphasis, not exclusivity — an order can sit with either company or be split across both.

03Capability

What buying from the weaver changes

  1. The jacquard is in this building

Forty Bonas electronic jacquard heads and fifty Italian Itema rapier looms, in our own building. A pattern is a weave structure we work out here — not a file we forward to someone else's factory.

  2. Weave to your reference

Send a swatch, a photograph or a drawing. We work out the construction and weave a sample against it.

  3. Short runs are accepted

Small-quantity custom orders, sample development and technical consultation are listed services at Xinzhaofeng, not favours.

  4. Specifications are adjustable

Construction, base cloth, momme and finish can be changed after the specification review — because the loom is ours to reset.

What we weave

Photographs below are our own fabric, photographed at the mill. Where an article number is shown, its width and weight are taken from our factory price list — you can quote that number back to us.

Blends

Widths are 114 cm and 140 cm. Typical weight 12.5–30 momme. We say this early because it decides whether a design works: at 140 cm a 65 cm scarf lays up two across, a 75 cm scarf only one. Construction, base cloth and finish are adjustable after specification review.
